SAMA has developed on electronic Doctors' Billing Manual known as the eDBM.
We focussed on building a Windows application first as we believed most people to still use Windows, however we are in the process of developing DBM applications for Apple, Android and the Web.

How the system works:
- The eDBM search engine is a Windows based software application to quickly find codes, description, rules, units and modifiers for procedures.
- This edition currently does not have an option to add your own RCF; however an updated version will include this function.
- It is not an excel spreadsheet, therefore you cannot copy, print or edit the file or import the information into other applications.+
- PLEASE NOTE that this download of the eDBM will be licensed to a specific computer of your choice. Once licensed the program cannot be transferred to a different computer without having to purchase a new licence.
System specification
The
eDBM product require Microsoft .Net 4.0
If you are running a modern operating system which has been kept up to date
with Windows update you will most likely already have .NET 4 installed. If not you will be prompted to download and
install .Net 4 when you install the eDBM.
The update process will only download the components required for to
update YOUR specific system.
If you are running an older version of .NET the size of the download will be
proportionally larger depending on the version you currently have. I.e. if you are running .Net 3 the download
will be smaller than if you are still on .Net 2
The rationale behind using .Net is it decreases the download size since
required libraries which are already installed on your system are utilised
instead of re-installing them and downloading unnecessary components.
Please note, that the .Net installation is not only used by the software
created by SAMA. Most applications on
the Windows platform use .NET; So while you may need to download it now, you
will not need to download it in future for any other .NET application.
