Judasa is a SAMA interest group of the Medical Association. It provides a forum for medical students and hospital doctors to interact and promote their interests. These include issues concerning training, internship, compulsory community service and conditions of service. Judasa is represented on the Board of Directors and National Council of the South African Medical Association where the particular interests of this grouping are addressed at a broader level.

Membership of JUDASA is open to any person who is a:

fourth or fifth year medical student,
-
registered student intern,
-
registered intern, or
-
medical doctor in the Republic of South Africa two years post internship, and
-
members of SAMA in these categories, are automatically members of Judasa.
Junior doctors are invited to join SAMA and become active both at local and national level in the structures of the Association. In this way you will remain involved, informed and will play a part in shaping the destiny of the profession.
Priorities of JUDASA
