This letter serves to confirm your registration to the SAMA Conference and to express the warm enthusiasm with which the South African Medical Association looks forward to welcoming you at the Conference.
In order to assist you with your plans to attend the SAMA Conference, we have provided detailed information below.

The Registration Process
On the day of the Conference registration will take place at the ABSA and SAMA registration booths, which are located in the foyer (ground level), in front of the Exhibition Hall One.
Please take care to note that registration will not take place at the same time every day.
The registration times are as follows
- Friday, 18 September 2015, from 09:30 until 10:30
- Saturday, 19 September 2015, at 07:00 (the programme starts promptly at 08:00)
- Sunday, 20 September 2015, at 07:00 (the programme starts promptly at 08:00)
Set-up and Break-up times for exhibitors
- Thursday, 17 September 2015, from 15:00
- Sunday, 20 September 2015, from 16:00
In light of the fact that each day promises to cover challenging and significant topics, which requires disciplined focus on behalf of the Conference delegates, it is important that the schedule be respected and we thank you in advance for your timeous attendance.
Please note that every delegate will receive a ‘delegate registration badge' during the registration process. For security reasons we ask that you please wear this badge during your attendance of the SAMA Conference and evening functions.

Venue & Parking Details
The Conference will be hosted in Exhibition Hall One, located on the street level / ground floor of the Sandton Convention Centre. This is the same level on which you will find the ABSA and SAMA registration booths. For your convenience we have included a map to the venue with this letter.
In order to avoid any frustration which could steal focus from the Conference, please take note of the location of the Sandton Convention Centre's parking area.
Parking Tickets
Every consideration has been provided for you during this event, which is why each delegate/exhibitor will be provided with a parking ticket for the Sandton Convention Centre parking area. These tickets are available at the registration booths.
Dietary Requirements
Should anything have changed in your dietary requirements since your registration, please don't hesitate to inform the registration staff. They will ensure that this change is accounted for and that your dietary needs are suitably met.
We urge you to advise the registration staff of any food allergies that you might have, i.e. nuts or sea food.
Prayer Room
We respect the religious beliefs of our delegates and as such the venue includes a prayer room on Level 2, Boardroom 6 should you require the use of one.
Bathrooms
Please note that the bathroom facilities can be found on the same level as the Conference Hall.
Other
Should you need to draw money, ATM Machines can be found in the Sandton Convention Centre, as well as in Sandton City Shopping Centre.

Travel & Accommodation
All delegates will be responsible for both the arrangement and expense of their own travel and accommodation while attending the SAMA Conference, as well as any other costs incurred during the Conference.
Should you require accommodation, SAMA recommends the Garden Court Sandton City Hotel. SAMA has negotiated a discounted rate for Conference delegates of R1 300 per person per night, and the hotel is conveniently situated within walking distance from the Sandton Convention Centre.

SAMA & Bonitas House Call Awards Ceremony
In order to make sure that you benefit from and enjoy the activities, discussion topics, and exposure at the SAMA and Bonitas House Call Doctors Award Ceremony, please ensure that your registration and payment is made no later than 11 September 2015.
