Covid-19 The Second Surge Webinar Series | Emergence and spread of a new SARS-CoV-2 Variant (501Y.V2) in South Africa

Recognising the need for sound clinical guidance during this important time, Discovery, SAMA, UFFP and SAPPF have reinstated the COVID-19 Clinical Brief webinar series. This CPD-accredited series, first started in 2020, will continue to support doctors on the frontlines with credible, practical information from local and international experts about a range of topics related to COVID-19.

The hosts of this series, Discovery, SAMA, UFFP and SAPPF, are not in a place to comment on the material presented on any of the webinars. Given the rapid pace at which knowledge needs to evolve to effectively combat the COVID 19 pandemic, not all information in these sessions may be evidence-based, but it is presented by leading experts of the highest calibre at the cutting edge of COVID research and management. We are confident that healthcare professionals attending these webinars will use their clinical judgement and discretion on the advice and guidance they choose to apply in the management of their patients.
