Understanding COVID-19 maternal and perinatal outcomes and vaccinations in pregnancy

Dear Colleagues

You are invited to a webinar on understanding COVID-19 maternal and perinatal outcomes and vaccinations in pregnancy.

The COVID-19 Clinical Brief Webinar series has been reinstated in response to the unique clinical challenges posed by the third wave of SARS-CoV-2. Discovery Health, together with SAMA, UFFP and SAPPF recognise the need for sound clinical guidance for, and by the profession at this critical time.

This CPD-accredited series (launched in 2020) will continue to support doctors on the frontlines during this third wave with credible, practical information about a range of topics related to COVID-19.

In support of the national vaccine rollout, healthcare professionals who have not had the opportunity to vaccinate can now register for their vaccination at a Discovery vaccination site. Follow these steps to book your appointment at a Discovery vaccination site:

• Register on the vaccines for healthcare workers (V4HCW) website
• Navigate to the Discovery COVID-19 Vaccination Navigator to book your appointment at a
  Discovery vaccination site.

In addition, we hope to remain a trusted source of support for your personal wellbeing and practice sustainability during and beyond these challenging times.

Please contact us on MGoodman@discovery.co.za if you are interested in more details in this regard.
