Update 9 July 2020
Dear Valued Member
Last week SAMA put out a PP4U asking our members to indicate whether they have had Business Interruption Claims denied.
Unfortunately, our members have not been spared and more than 20 affected members have responded.
We are reviewing the responses and are considering the possible next steps.
SAMA will be meeting with law firms representing similarly impacted individuals and businesses on Friday (10/07/20)
We will provide feedback early next week.
SAMA continues to engage with the authorities to seek solutions to these pressing financial needs, advocating for our members who will be needed more than ever during and in the aftermath of this disaster. We will keep you updated on these broader engagements.
