Notice is hereby given on the appointment of persons as members of the South African Health Products Regulatory Authority Board in terms of section 2C (1) of the Medicines and Related Substances Amendment Act, 2015 (Act No. 14 of 2015) for a three - year term of office, expiring on 30 September 2020.

CMScript 8 of 2017: Focus on Colorectal Cancer


Colorectal cancer refers to cancer of the colon and the rectum. The colon is the large intestine and the rectum is the lower part of colon. Colorectal cancer is the third most common cancer worldwide and the fourth most common cause of death. It represents 9.4% of all cancers in men and 10.1% of cancers affect- ing women. In South Africa, colon cancer is ranked as the fifth most common type of cancer.
